Say hello to the 6Wunderkinder team. A team that has come from all over the world to gather here in Berlin and change the world of productivity.
Our Android team are known far and wide for their deadly Java skills and fearless attitude. With a whole range of devices and screen sizes to consider, they are always going into battle to give you the awesome Wunderlist experience on all your Android-powered devices, no matter how different they may be. Whether it’s challenging The Hierarchy Viewer, fighting bravely to optimize the Wunderlist user experience or spotting and squashing bugs in the most ambiguous of places, they are a force to be reckoned with. We may be biased, but we think they are by far the most talented Android Development Team in all the lands.
Let’s pop the hood of Wunderlist and take a look at the engine. Built and maintained by a team of skilled software engineers this is the beating heart of Wunderlist. Here, the team is responsible for crafting the code that stores your data securely in the cloud and seamlessly pushes it to all your devices. They tune DBs, obsess over RESTful design, craft elegant Ruby code, meticulously test our systems with the support of Chef, Ubuntu and Node.js. and are constantly, hungrily learning.
Our Brand Team are dedicated to sharing our most recent news with you, no matter how big or small. On a daily basis you can often find them chatting with you on Facebook or Twitter, creating awesome graphics that capture your attention, crafting instructional videos, welcoming you for a tour at our office and talking with press. They also like to blog. Have you read their most recent post?! Oh, and if you want to hear more from them, sign up to our newsletter.
Don’t let the name fool you these guys are not your typical corporate team. There is not a suit or a tie to be found amongst these cool cats. They are the glue that holds us all together, managing everything across finance, investor relations, data security, legal topics, recruitment and social gatherings (read: PARTIES and our annual Wundercamp). Oh and if you join our team, you can bet that they will be the first to give you a warm welcome!
It's not just about taking photos of food and throwing birds around in the iOS team, these guys can always be found working hard. They obsess about clean "@interfaces" and efficient "@implementations", working tirelessly to make sure that every transition is smooth, every gesture happens as it should and that the impact on your device’s memory is kept at an all time low. Thanks to these guys everything in Wunderlist is just a swipe, pull-down and tap away.
Taming mountain lions or snow leopards can be troublesome, but not for our brilliant Mac team. Just take a look at Wunderlist on your Mac. Yep, they have no trouble crafting a customized framework to bring the beautifully simple Wunderlist experience to Mac users. Oh, and the best part, these guys can hold a tune while in the depths of coding. They can often been heard singing loudly while mastering seemingly impossible feats in Cocoa and pushing the limits. Respect!
They may look like a boy band but these guys are the architects responsible for all our user experience design. You’ll often find them surrounded by the blueprints to Wunderlist, analyzing and reassessing striving to make Wunderlist just that little bit better — what can we say, these guys are perfectionists. And so the process begins, first by putting pen to paper, conceptualizing the original idea and then transforming it into a beautifully simple, yet intelligent design solution across all devices.
Our Quality and Support team are renowned for their detectives skills. Before a product or update is released this team gets straight to work, stringently testing the product and uncovering any irregularity — spotting and squashing bugs in the most obscure places. And in case a tiny bug has gone undetected, those guys are also here to help you. Write them a support email, send a tweet or post a comment on Facebook and they will promptly start the investigation. So who you gonna call?
Ever dreamt of a web app that feels like a desktop-grade app and can be used in a web browser of any size? Well, thanks to our very talented web team they have magically made the seemingly impossible, possible. Just take a look at Wunderlist in your web browser on your mobile, then on your desktop and tablet, can you notice any differences? Wunderlist is totally responsive and optimized for your use depending on the device. Yep, these guys know their stuff!
Just take a seat in the Windows team’s office and you will know exactly why we like to call them the Quiet Achievers. These guys are super stealth! They go quietly about their business working in WPF and WCF. Tweaking and customizing WPF styles and templates with unprecedented precision to give Wunderlist a truly native Windows feel. Also, we must warn you, their stealth like moves also extend to the ping pong table. So be prepared if you want to challenge them to a match, they will win!
